Just got a filly that I couldn't pass up... she's Blue Valentine/Hancock from her sire, and Holidoc/Freckles Playboy from her dam.
Brought her home today, she's barely been touched let alone halter broke and I can already tell she's smart as a whip. Settled in quiet as a church mouse.
Anyone have thoughts on this cross? Met the mom and dad at the barn, the stud especially was very quiet tempered. Mare huge, stud on the smaller side but built very well. To be honest it was the cutting lines that got my attention, the color is a bonus

I have this mare https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/playboy+sassy+hancok and she is one of the best horses I've ever been around. She is headed to the rope horse futurity finals in Fort Worth next month and I truely believe she could win the entire thing.

Shes a looker!!!! I love Blue Valentine, how close is he on her papers? Shes bred very well, love all the old breeding, you dont see much of these lines anymore. I would love to see her papers

Thanks!! She's the sweetest thing too - and absolutely nothing has phased her so far (and I'm a spooky person lol)
Here's her dam and sire's papers - nothing right up there but it's not that far back either. The breeder had a NICE herd of mares for sure!

Best of luck to you!!! The lines are so similar on our mares mine are just a generation or two further back... so this still makes me happy to hear!
