I think it must be the area where you live. We have plenty of chicken stocked....plus I bought REALLY nice pork tenderloin chops today for $1.18/# ....That being said, I think beef has gone a little high. 

At the heart of this supply chain chaos is a labor shortage.  Biden said that UPS, FedEx, Walmart, would extend their hours and ports would stay open 24/7 but if you don't have the labor to deliver you can't deliver...  The docks are hurting for workers.  The regulations are stifling truck drivers with an already shortage of drivers.  To watch the ships sitting and idling is wild.  There was a certain stretch of interstate I use to drive that would have a constant flow of container trucks going to and from the ports.  I use to dread the drive but not now unfortunately due to the terrible circumstances.  It is all but dried up.

To try and blame this on Trump would be a contradiction of what Mayor Pete says is behind the supply chain problems.  Yep ole Joe has successfully pulled the country out of the terrifying recession.  Demand is up because income is up.  What is up is gas, food, shipping, clothes, services, etc.  As Tom Cotton so rightly stated, Pete Buttigieg couldn't organize a one car funeral.

Evidently the docks in LA are one of the least efficient in the industry to top everything else.  It takes five to eight days to unload one cargo ship.  That may be the  norm but that's a long time.

When you take a chain saw to our oil and gas industry as the Biden administration has done, thus asking OPEC to increase production and giving them sway over our economy, there will be no end to catastropies.  These trucks take a lot of fuel.

How many of you think oil will go past $100 a barrel?  It is hard to believe we were once energy independent.   Ironically the oil companies and making bank and everyday folks taking the brunt of Biden's energy policy.  

The price of crude oil was the highest in 2008 ($147/Barrel) ...... did you blame George W. Bush for that?

Fact is commodities analysts predicted before Biden took office that his policies would create higher oil prices.  Forbes who tends to run favorable to Biden has a recent article that does not fault current high oil prices as a result of Biden's policies but and this is the part of the article that gets glossed over; per the article his policies would more than likely contribute to higher prices in the future.

Trump made our country energy independent.  He was proud of that and should have been.  On the first day in office, Biden bowed to the Green Energy left and killed everything with one stroke of his little pen.  With most of the policies he destroyed that day, including the border, he changed our country for the worse and forever when it comes to immigration.  He has never taken the time to think things through, but thinking isn't his best event.

We used to run a pick-up on propane.  For some reason it felt dangerous but probably no more so than any other fuel.

It must be very hard these days to be a Biden supporter.  I can't think of a single thing he's done right, no matter how hard I try to be objective.  Someone mentioned how the Secretary of Transportation, Peter Butt-edge-edge,  had been on "Paternity leave" as this log jam of ships was reaching critical mass.  Almost every person he appointed on his cabinet or various high positions was based, first and foremost, on race, gender, or sexual orientation, including the cackling opportunistic slut he appointed as his running mate. 
It's amazing to me to compare the Trump presidency to this catastrophe, and even more amazing to look back at what Trump said would happen under a Biden administration.  Not even Trump fully realized the mess Biden would create.  I was thinking of listing all his catastrophic decisions, but everyone knows that list all too well.

What's even more disheartening is that he's just getting started.  Here's the deal though.  I honestly don't think Biden really fully realizes what he's doing.  The power brokers in the Democrat party recognized he was just demented enough to be trained and programmed, but not so demented that he was in a full blown vegetative state.  Unelected Marxist progressives in the deep state are really running the show, but they are really under the control of wealthy liberal globalist oligarchs.  Those same oligarchs and their unlimited financial resources also manage to control an awful lot of Republicans.  Because of this, our runaway debit is exponential, and both parties spend money and rack up unimaginable debt.  No politician in today's world can urvive without supporting wasteful spending.  Remember the huge $900 billion "porkulus" bill from 2009?  In today's world that is paltry.  Now it looks like anything under $2 Trillion is deemed inadequate.  This is nothing new.  Our founding fathers predicted it.

They actually have a fueling station for propane right down the road from my work.  Outside the P&G and Pfizer plants.  It is never busy.  As in, I can go a week (eat lunch across the street from it), and never see a truck fueling.  The problem is there are no mechanics to work on the trucks and the fact that the stations are not readily available for refueling.  

Raven is about the only truck line that does use it.

Speaking of what is in the bill (they will read it after it passes), there is a clause in there, if I am not mistaken that paternity leave will be required by employers to pay their employees 12 weeks, while out.  Obviously, we now have FMLA to protect your job while out for 13 weeks (miscellaneous causes), but the new clause is being paid by employers while out.

Two of my friends who were extremely anti-Trump and extremely vocal about it on FB....and who were extremely vocal about how wonderful Joe Biden is and how he will save the country, have disappeared. One shut down all of his FB pages and the other has "taken a break".  Another friend  recently told me she is no longer a Democrat although she also said she is not anything right now.  Three other acquaintances who have been lifelong Democrats have joined the Republican Party. I think some folks are beginning to see the light.....

We were informed last night of a possible propane shortage this winter.  I can't imagine how prices are going to skyrocket. 

In Scotland where Biden has camped for the last week, in a prepared speech he was blaming Russia and Saudi Arabia for our high fuel prices because they won't produce as much as we need.  Biden shut down oil and gas production in the US.  A first grader could figure this out.

1. He took away the pipeline and jobs were lost over this.

2. Fueled (Gas prices) is going up and still will keep going up because he shut down the pipeline and many other oil companys.

3. He opened the border and is rewarding all these illegals that are breaking our law (we dont have much laws anymore since the Liberal/Dens are butting in)

4. He wants to pay these illegals 450.000 to a millon for being here illegally..What about our VETS and their familys and all the HOMELESS, CHILDREN that are living in dangers condition, the ELEDERLY that live in horrible conditions . Our Americans dont count if you are a Biden Supporter. 

5. Afghanistan, Has Afghanistan all ready been for gotton!!!!!!

6. The Covid vaccine mandate, hes put in order and now its a vaccine mandate on our children and grandchildren!!!!

7. The schools, now parents are being called terrorist because they are concrened over what is being taught in their schools to their children.

Pointed out this morning by a Fox contributor.   The DOJ/Biden wants to compensate all these illegals because as criminals they were separated from their children.  Our neighbor is in prison and is also separated from his children.  That's how it works when you break the law.

Angel Moms and Dads have been separated from their children forever.  They were murdered by illegal migrants.  Compensation...none.
