We spent quiet a bit of money on a gelding that tied up a few days after purchasing with nothing being changed.

Since than we have change diet routine and everything. But he seems to be lacking energy.

What have you found that works do's and don'ts!!!????!!! Others that better for the money. Or something that's not as hard on my wallet :

We feed him

Small amount bluebonnet omega force

Platinum CJ

Vitamin E

Platinum Power

Platinum healthy weight

Soaked Grass hay

He gets daily long trotting

Alfalfa pellets and a high fat oil like cocosoya.  I had a vet recommend Amplify for added fat but my horse would not eat it.

BB ProCare, Exceed 6 Way and a flake of alfalfa along with plenty of Bermuda hay has always worked for me on P1s.

Little to no grass, some can't handle any at all.
no cortisone .
