Location: Arizona | Who has used these two products? Did you use them before using lasix and never had to go to lasix? Did you use them while using lasix, etc. and did you see any result? New to lasix. :( |

| Trust the lasix. It will be ok, in fact- it will be better! Use them as a support to your lasix not a replacement. Nothing replaces lasix. Please remember to read ingredients on whichever product you choose as some are not meant to be fed in conjunction with certain other supplements/medications. Example Race today specifcally notes not to feed at the same time as your ulcer protocol. |

You might think it does, but a scope will probably tell you they're still bleeding without it. I used Race Today for a little while, then switched to MVP AirWay. Liked it better, but a lot of people swear by the Race Today. Mine's a roarer and sounds like I just pulled him out of the pasture after 2 years and ran him, no matter how fit. He was quieter on both, so I assumed it was providing benefits. He seemed to not fizzle out at the end of the pattern either. I also did Equipulmin for awhile and liked that a lot, but it was too pricey. Its all pricey in the end. And lasix is too cheap not to use and the best method

| I run 4 horses. One is supposedly a bleeder (as told when I bought her) so I run her on lasix every time. All 4 are on CEP Daily Lung (one horse gets it twice a day because she has an airway disease, the others get it once a day). I like it because there are NO FILLERS which is very important to me, having a horse with allergies. It also targets both the respiratory system AND the lungs.
My allergy horse does not run anymore, but I have videos of his breathing last year when dex did nothing and now when my son rides him. Huge, huge difference thanks to Daily Lung. |

Location: Arizona | Thanks for the input. I was going to just give Race Today along with the lasix and see how she does. She has been extremely difficult to get out of the holding pens. I am hoping this helps. I bought both products as my other mare has allergies and I am hoping the CEP Daily Lung will help her. I'm not skeptical of using lasix as I know it's the only proven method, I'm just scared of using it and making sure all goes well...I will have to learn how to give it via IV...not a fan of needles. I've been reading up on the "do's & don'ts" of giving lasix...so much information and some of it is conflicting. Any tips is much appreciated. |

You can give lasix IM, you just have to give it a little extra time to take effect. I found I had to give mine 30 minutes earlier IM than IV |

I have been afraid of learning IV forever. So I've been giving my lasix in the mouth. I just had a patient vet teach me how to do IV last week and it's really so, so easy!!! I'm embarrassed that I refused to learn for so long (out of fear). I'd ask a vet to show you! My one horse hates needles so I'll continue her lasix in her mouth, but it's nice to know I can give IV now!! Secondly, Daily Lung changed my allergy horse's life! I keep him on a double dose year round. |
