I did an elastomeric coating DIY. The application process isn't that bad but you have to ensure that you do the prep work well. The only times I have heard of people that had issues rushed and didn't do the prep work well or didn't give enough time inbetween coats. I have seen the professional cost floating around FB, maybe it was the Kool Coat, and I saved myself hundreds of dollars doing it myself. I did a trailer renovation last year and got the folllowing read outs when people were asking about it: Just for reference, we took an infrared thermometer and measured the following: -it is 98° outside, 109° heat index -concrete is 104° -bare metal on trailer is 123° -elastomeric roof is 98° -horse area 90° -weekender is 87° The trailer was in full sun. |
