We are getting ready to do a 60x100. I figure that I can do some slow work in it, that is if the husband and boys don't try to fill it up with hay and equipment! LOL

I have an 80X120. It is definitely good to to school and hi lope the pattern. You can make a run, but the 80' width will have your horse on its game at a run

If your pen is 60' and your 1st and 2nd barrel is 15' away from the fence, your barrels will only be 30' apart. I would think that would cause more problems than help,

Not if your going to winter rodeos in North Dakota!!! I've seen results where the winning times were in the 11 second range.
