Those that use/have tried this.  Results, experiences?  Any info. greatly appreciated! 

I have a friend with a mare on this. She says it works well and they don't plan to take her off of it. I'm following for more info/experiences as well. 

I have all my horses on it (2 mares & a pony). I started using it because my one mare constantly had loose stools. Since using it, she no longer has that issue. It has worked wonders. The pony when we got him was kinda thin looking didn't have a great coat and was a bit nervous on the ground. I started him on it and wow, he looks great and it has calmed his nervousness. Love the stuff. 

Does Gut X help hind gut ulcers or just foregut? 

It's an interesting product for sure. Hyaluronic Acid and Beta Glucan. Who would have thought that would help ulcers. I sent my daughter's filly off to a reiner trainer recently, she has had issues in the past with ulcers. When I told the trainer about it he told me every horse in his barn is kept on GutX . He swears by it. So I bought her a few jugs to keep over there. I have a mare that we think had/has an issue with hindgut ulcers and just a rough gut in general. I bought some for her, changed her diet up (a few times) I'm not 100% convinced it's helping her with her issues. I've moved her back onto the loading dose to see. The mare at the trainer is doing great on it.. hasn't had any issues with flair ups or attitude. I think it works for some and not others like most everything out there. I'm almost done with the jug at home on my mare and I'm not sure I'll order more or not. She seemed to respond more to outlast and diet change. Forage forage and more forage ... bermuda and alfalfa and lots of it. 

I'm curious as well. Those who have tried it - has anyone had an issue with a horse(s) not eating it? 

It's flavorless and has no smell to it. Mine didn't ever notice it was in their feed. It's like a big clear blob 

Mine wouldn't touch it. And then they wouldn't touch their grain days after even with me not putting it in. I syringed it a few days and then they were hard to catch lol so I sold my jug and scratched that off my list! 

I tried it on my mare who is cinch-y, bite-y and just ill mannered.  It made no difference in her behavior.  I had her on it for 5 months and then did a scope.  The scope showed a few mild ulcer spots.  For my mare, it did not work.  However, she loves the stuff.  I can walk up to her in the turnout and she starts curling her lip as soon as she sees the syringe.  I still buy it for her as a treat because she likes it so much.  I tasted a small drop and it has no flavor.  I am not sure what it is that she likes so much.

Did the 3 month trial and honestly did not notice much of a difference other than a super shiney coat. 

If anyone is interested in trying it I have a big jug that hasn't been opened that I'd be willing to sell for cheap. I used it on my colt when he started to get cinchy. Not sure if it was that or something else that helped but he felt better not long after starting.

I can't tell you what it did, but mine ate it up and looked good on it. I've read some articles that challenge the "research" behind the product. To each hud own. At least they looked good. I went through a bucket of SDW without any change at all.

I did give this a try, but did not see any difference on the horse I tried it on. 

I ordered some and have been using it for almost a week. No trouble getting her to eat it. My mare's coat is getting more shiney and it seems to be helping with her runny nervous poop.

The Osteo MAX smells like old motor oil to me. I never tried their other products because I was afraid they would have the same smell, and my one mare is picky enough as it is. 

I've had my mare on GutX for over a year and a half it has made a huge difference in her attitude, she's no longer cinchy and she is overall less nervous and easier to be around. I keep her on the recommended performance dose of 2 pumps a day, she gets very little grain and licks the bucket clean. I'm not big on supplements but this is one that I won't go without!

I tried it on several and noticed no difference

I also tried this on several with zero results and money bank guarantee was bogus. I explained to them what I was dealing with and the fact it did nothing for my two and I got belittled. Oh well wont use it again 

I have had my gelding on it for 2 years now and love it. He looks amazing while being on it and i have never had a sore tummy with him.

I tried it for 3 months on my gelding. No results. I stopped using it. He ate it fine though.
