I'm in Augusta, and we're getting incredibly high winds already so I can't image what the coast is getting.

Just popping on to post that Perry Fairgounds has plenty of stalls if anyone needs them.

I'm on the east coast of FL. We are all ok. LOTS of water, but otherwise we are in good shape. Pray for those on the west coast! It's bad =(

I live in Labelle which is about 30 minutes east of Ft Myers.  While we got some damage not as much as when Irma rolled through.

Ft Myers, Cape Coral and communities near them, DEVASTATED!  The bridge Sanibel Causway is collasped, gone in multiple places.  It is the only way onto Sanibel except by boat.  There were reports that 200 people chose to stay on the island...rescues are under way.  Also, These areas are 100% without power.

My husband works for Lee County (Ft Myers and surrounding towns) and was first in on assesement teams.  He said it was BAD!!!  I'm sure if you google you will find pictures that are now coming up of the damage.

It is literally like a bomb went off.

The nursery I work at is about maybe 10 minutes east of Ft Myers and we sustained a lot of damage.  We already have crews back in to right things.

The coast literally looks like mother nature had a royal tantrum...boats, vehichles, buildings, historic structures, just gone.

As of yet, I have not heard of any of the horse community that lost any people or animals.  They are checking in as they get cell service.
