What were your thoughts on last night run? 

Those girls all brought their A games. Tremendous first round and it's only going to get better!

I look to see Kassie be faster tonight, what a cool horse! 

I'm rooting for Donna Kay to get a world championship this year, but Jordan & Rollo will be hard to beat they are so consistent. 

I thought it was a good round.  I thought the ground looked as hard as a rock and a lot of horses went flying by barrels. 

I think I saw where Jessica Routier was working on meeting walls and her little yellow mare took it to heart.  Which is better than knocking!   I do look for her to get a lot faster as the week rolls on.  

I was thinking Donna Kay needed a seatbelt at first barrel.  Holy moly did he stop hard and roll back! 

I was sad that Hailey knocked, but at this point, she needs to be gung-ho the rest of the week.  

My favorite part was watching Wenda's pony's ears.  He was focused and alert and watched those barrels perfectly.  I absolutely LOVED that.  

Kassie's grey is a BEAST! I really enjoy watching her ride and I love that big grey. If I was a betting woman, my money would be on Jordan and Rollo for the championship. It's gonna be a great 10 days no matter what. 

It's proving to be a great NFR 

I'm rooting for all of the girls, but really holding my breath for Lisa. Her 16th year making the finals. How special would it be not just moving from 14th to 1st, but winning the world for the first time. Sweet 16!! 

Janie Johnson put a jinx on almost every single barrel racer the last few nights, like they need to pay her not to even mention them,pretend they are not running till its over!

Such a great group of qualifiers it is hard to have a favorite but I have to say I just love Emily and Chongo!

Love them all, but I'm really pulling for Lisa, its time for a Championship behind her name!!! She has worked so hard for the last 16 years and its time I think.. All the ladys have worked so hard but really would love to see Lisa at the end on TOP!!!

We have been taping the rounds so we can catch up with everything since we are busy (like most of us) feeding and getting odd jobs done still when the rodeo starts (I will not complain about the early time what so ever, I love not being up till 11 to watch barrels!!!) Anyway, my husband made me watch barrels with the TV on mute last night because he was tired of me yelling "OMG, Janie!!! SHUT UP!!! Please just shut up!!!" at Janie Johnson thru the ENTIRE round of barrel racers the night before

I was then allowed to rewatch it with sound once I knew what happened

I'm like, "say aggressive rider or get her timing down one more time."
