| I have three horses, all had 1-4 deer ticks I found this Fall. None are symptomatic, but I know of three people that just had horses test positive for Lyme Disease. It's about $250 per horse to test through the vet. Does anyone know if the human or dog over the counter tests would be effective? I know it only indicates exposure, not level. However, I would then have the vet out if positive. Hate to be a worry wort, but my one friends horse is really messed up from Lymes. Thanks! |
