Tell me about your Ivory James horses (mares). I have a chance to buy an Ivory James daughter. Mostly has a broodmare prospect but shes broken just not patterened. What are some of your favorite crosses on Ivory James/Corona Cartel? (Her bottom side is First Down Dash - great grandsire

I've ridden a IJ son that was out of a Dash For Cash daughter for about a year and a half.  He is the most athletic horse I've ever ridden.  He was bought from Jim and Stacy Warner, so he had a good start.  Very level headed, wants to please, and doesn't like being in trouble.  The people I rode him for now has bought another IJ.

Should be a really nice cross. For me, the Ivory James have been better minded than PYC Paint Your Wagon even though they're full brothers.

I ended up buying her and she is LOVELY! Quiet and kind. Im trying to figure out what I am going to cross her on in the spring. I have a "short list" of 12 so far. Im going to need to narrow it down a bit. As my husband said... sounds like a good excuse for a spread sheet.
