MY Six year old Barrel Horse has been breathing loudly at a trott and lope. Not quite a roar or a wheez but just loud. Occasionally loud when I even just walk her across the yard to the trailer. I had her endoscoped at a rest everything was fine. Was given clenbuterol to give twice daily. She does not always do it. Could it be from excitement? No drainage, no coughing. Still performing. No resistance A Bal and Endoscope while breathing heavy is next on my list along with a. Allergy test. Has anyone dealt with this? Are some horses just noisey It seems worse when we are in an unfamiliar place. |
