I've been feeding it for years, its a very small dose so have not had any of them , even my picker eaters willingly eat it, and knock on wood , have not dealt with an abscess since starting to feed it which is why I started feeding it in the first place. My gelding has to have pads and he was dealing with thrush during the winter months and my one big mare has issues with her immune system so her feet were kind of a on and off again battle with abscesses. It's been around 8 years now that we have feed it to now 5 horses.
I tried it for 3 months on a horse and noticed no differences. I then consulted with an equine nutritionist and she told me the aminos in the product were in such trace amounts, it would not truly be beneficial at all. She suggested, instead, Mad Barn Three Amigos or the Ukele Tri Amino supplement.

I have had a horse on it for a couple months now and she shed out a completely different color!! She is a normal red sorrel who shed out chestnut with black face and black points all over. Craziest thing ive ever seen! Its doing something. Also her mane and tail growing like nuts! Ive trimmed the tail 2x over winter and her braid is still dragging on ground, So there has to be some major cell turnover going on?
