Please help!!! What is a riders take of the earnings? I need breakdowns, such as jump rider, trainer, your adult child?
My horses are jockeyed and trained by my married daughter. All products, feed, housing, and most fuel is provided by me. I house and feed her mare and baby. Right now this is the only way she can be a trainer, run futurity horses and keep gaining experience. My husband is beyond ****ed and I need help. Major help.

There is no one answer to this. I know that with my trainer, if he pays travel, entry, stall, etc., he keeps it all. If I pay entry then he pays that back plus 50% of the remainder, if there is any. If I hand him a horse to ride not in training with him and I've paid all fees and costs then all expenses come off the top and he gets 50% of the remainder. But it takes big checks to clear expenses so ??? And everyone works out their own deal with their trainer/rider.
****ed husbands are another matter and may not resolve no matter what arrangements are made on expenses and winnings.

I have two trainers in the cowhorse world.
One is a younger trainer trying to make a name for himself. If I pay the entry and expenses, I get the money, and if he pays the entry and expenses, he gets the money.
The other is an established top-level trainer. I pay for everything with him, and he gets 30% of all earnings.
