Does anyone know the in's and out's of purchasing quarter horses off track? I have an off track First Moonflash gelding I'm running right now but I purchased him through a consignment deal. He was already finished on the pattern, limited hauling but still a hefty price tag. I'm just curious if they are any less expensive off the track before they have been patterned on barrels. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.
