My gelding has a slight case of tendonitis. Not a full bowed tendon. He needs to stay wrapped for the next few months. He's been wrapped in no bows for 3 months now, and we take the wraps off daily, but now very small sores are starting to form. Any other ideas on what to do in replace of no bow wraps? Vet said maybe polo wrap..

I use these no bows whenever I need to do a sweat wrap. They are so soft and cushy and almost kinda feel like memory foam-ish. I can't imagine these would cause any sores. They have no stitching at all except on the very edge which doesnt really touch the horse.

Wow, that really surprises me! You think maybe some dirt was there that hadnt gotten brushed off or something? Or maybe clippers used to trim up the long hairs and they are causing some rubbing? I'm stretching here. LOL

No.. I guess I'm assuming that it's because the wraps are on for pretty much 23 hours a day, and have been for the past three months. I think it's probably maybe just chafing? ???? Just truly don't know what else to do as he still needs to be wrapped for another couple months.
