Does anyone know what is going on with the company ? All of a sudden our tractor supply can't get it in. A local feed store ran out and can't get it. We have a mare who can't have alfalfa and the omolene 200 is the only feed we've found that doesn't have alfalfa in it. Our horses are doing wonderful on the 200 and senior. I don't want to switch feeds, AGAIN.

I was getting mine from Tractor Supply and the color of the feed began changing. Then I got 2 bags of Omelene 200 one afternoon, put in my trash barrel the next morning the can was covered in mold. That was it for me. I starting buying across the street a local business that sells Tucker Feeds from Alabama. I've been happy with their feed and my horses look just as good, and it's even a cheaper.
I wondered if something was up with it. I'm from CA but had to pick up a bag from Colorado while I was there. Horses would not touch it and it looked a lot different from the CA feed. Same bag.
Don't know where you live but other companies have feeds without alfalfa. You might look at Nutena. Kentucky Equine is good. I don't like buying from TSC because the feed has often been sitting around awhile Look up the feed producers in your area and see what brands are. Check the brands for one the one that doesn't have alfalfa. I feed BIG V feeds (OK) and I know they have something without alfalfa

I live in oklahoma. I live close to big v feeds. Honestly I won't touch that feed. We used it once and it had peas in it and other crap in it. As far as purina goes we have never had a bad bag of it. Our horses look great especially our 24 and 23 yr olds. We have never had a problem with tractor supply. Just was wondering why we were having a problem getting it in our area. Maybe they had a problem I don't know. Thank you all for your comments
