I have a mare that since a yearling ive always notived that her teets stay swollen off and on. She is now 5 and at the trainer. The last couple of weeks she started bucking under saddle. Had her checked out and her right ovary was having trouble shedding its follicle. He did pressure release on it and now she is MUCHHHHHH better. He doesn't believe much in supplements and that she will likely get better with age and the first heat of the year is usually a pretty big one for young mares. BUTTTT i really am too scared to take a chance for this to return the next cycle and get launched into space. SO with that being said what do ya'll use for your hormonal mares. Would really like to stay on the natural side of things. She is on a forage based diet. Thanks!

If she is on a feed that contains soy you might want to change to no soy alternative. Soy is high in estrogen and some mares can not tolerate it.
