| It's not the place it once was . . here. Not a peep about NFR or EHV. But then again, no big arguments or watching the drama lamas! And yes, it's been a fun NFR to watch! So much accomplished by these ladies. |

Location: 31 lengths farms | I tried to stay off the EHV thing all together, seemed like there was a ton of finger pointing and crazy happening there. I roll it up for the winter months as far as running so the shut down had zero effect on what my plans were, I ride by myself mostly and don't haul out much during the winter due to limited day light hours with a full time 8-5 job. Felt bad for those affected for sure! |

Location: 31 lengths farms | Incredibly scary ground...I wonder how much of it is that the horses are just bred to run that much faster now and maybe technology and or our understanding of how to prep ground for it haven't kept up. Thoughts? |

Same... the ground is always bad there, but I think the only way for them to get good ground... is move the venue. I don't get the hoopla around Vegas, but I am not one for big cities and gambling, the party pooper here LOL but The American always has good ground. There are so many options and I think if given time to advertise they could get the money there. JMO, and it' probably aint worth much lol |

| I wish more people would post updates here! Even if the forum is dead, the excitement isn’t. I’d love to see clips, results, or just some hype posts keeps the community alive and makes me feel like I’m part of it, even from afar. |

| I swear sometimes I think the internet collectively forgot there’s a season happening. Six rounds in and not a peep on BHW. Meanwhile these women and their horses are out there running like rent is due and I’m over here yelling at my screen like anyone can hear me. |

| Yeah, this site is pretty disappointing, I don't look at it much anymore since not much happens. I guess Facebook killed it. |

Only slowed up the discussions but not the traffic. :) At least we don't have fights any longer. Huge plus. |

Location: 31 lengths farms | I just thought the stories behind so many of these ladies this year for the NFR would be more note worthy to everyone,or maybe was hoping. I guess I just miss the comaradre that used to live here about barrel racing and being invested in each other. Arguments aside, I miss that, I miss the true knowlede that was shared. |

Did you ever almost fall off your chair trying to keep a horse from hitting a barrel. If I had tried harder maybe Sister wouldn't have hit those three barrels. Darn me !!!!!! I love Hailey and Sister. Would like to see Wenda free up her horses heads. The less leather the better. |

I don't think you're far off. With Facebook and other social media being infected with AI slop, I think we could see a resurgence of forums. At least, that's my hope. I've been horseless for almost 10 years now, but I still stop in occasionally. I'll never forget this place. |

That was Andy (Wrapsnap) that used to do the NFR run break downs |

Maybe you're right --- there are so many fake posts on FB that it's alarming - you don't know who you are reading a long post from and the pic looks a little fake and you go to their profile and their photos are all fake. grrrr |
