Location: Pennsylvania | I saw someone's post the other day about a song, and that got me thinking about music. So, what music do you all like? What is you current top song, or your favorite song from the past? I know it can be hard to chose, so you may pick more if you'd like. I have so many songs that I like right now and so many older songs that I still like... too tough to chose, but I am a big country fan but also like many other genres! So, let's here it folks, favorite type of music and some of your favorite songs from now or any period. Have fun with this! |

Location: South Dakota | I love all types of music!! I don't really like alot of country anymore, I like older country music better, like old Chris LeDeaux, Kenny Rogers, Johnny Cash, George Strait, stuff like that. I love the Red Hot Chili Peppers, my favorite song of all time is Under the Bridge from them with Scar Tissue a close second. I also like Michael Buble (sp?), Aerosmith, Bush, Fiona Apple, Three Doors Down .....I'm all over the place, I guess if it's good, I go for any genre of music. |

Location: Nebraska | Love the oldies! Lynyrd Skynrd is one of my favorites, Jimmi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Led Zepplin. AC/DC really gets me pumped up. I think that one of my favorite songs would have to be Lenny by SRV. All Along the Watchtower and Voodo Child by Hendrix ranks right up there. I don't really listen to any of the new stuff. |

Location: Woodstown, NJ | Leo, Twisted Sister?! The very first time I went into a bar when I was 17-years-old, I saw Twisted Sister and drank a sloe gin fizz because that's what my date said would be good for a first-timer! Puked my guts up. That was back in 1977 and they were a local bar band in Jersey! My favorite old song is, "For The Good Times." My other favorite old song is, "Make The World Go Away." Favorite old rock song is "Angie" by the Stones. Favorite movie song, "Midnight Cowboy." Favorite 60's song is "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," by the Four Seasons. More 60's (or maybe 70's) songs, "Tell It Like It Is," by Aaron Nevile and "Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone," by Al Green. "Stuck In The Middle" by Steeler's Wheel. And "Draggin' The Line." Alright, anything Motown, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, The Temptations. Favorite current country song, "One Hot Mama." I'm sure that's what my hubby is thinking. lol Favorite old country song, "He Stopped Loving Her Today," by George Jones. Miscellaneous songs: "I Can't Tell You Why," by the Eagles. "Love Bites," by Def Leppard. "Welcome To The Jungle," by Guns N Roses. "Amy" by The Pure Prairie League. "Telephone Line," by ELO. "Down On Main Street" by Bob Seger. Anything by Marshall Tucker, The Outlaws, and John Denver. Mmmm, my husband says I'm stuck in a rut because I can't think of anything new I like except Kid Rock. Boy, am I in the mood for music now! |

Location: Oklahoma | Flipper, I agree, I could go on with this topic all day, too, but duty calls. Is there any red-blooded American cowboy or cowgirl that doesn't like Garth, I wonder? It's really hard for me to pick a favorite from his songs, but one of his older ones I really like is kinda my theme song, LOL, "Friends in Low Places". |

Location: USA | I love to run to AC/DC, Tim McGraw, and several other fast beat songs, the one song I love and gives me goosebumps everytime is Toby Keith's American Soldier. I was riding my horse in the arena Sunday and that song came on, listening to American Soldier and riding my horse at the same time put the goosebumps on and a lump in my throat. I felt my self sit a little straighter in the saddle. |
