hey yall,
i need your help/guidance...... i need to borrow a horse to take to nationals and im really nerves about asking this person...... he is my boyfriends older brother and hes not going to nationals because his wife just had a baby... i was going to ask to take his horse to nationals, i am willing to pay for feed and use of horse....i would like to ride him in the local o-mok-see and some of the other kwha shows to get used to him..........also....i am going to tell him that since he wants to sell KC(the horse) that i would be more than willing to tell everyone i talk to that he is for sale and that alot of people like to buy horses that kids or teens ride because that means that they are easy handlers...do think what ive planned to say is okay and would you let me if these were your circumstances???

I dont see anything wrong with asking to borrow a horse we have had people lease ours for a year or so before so dont feel bad about asking to borrow the horse.

If this horse can go out and win you a check, or lets you have fun, and has good overall health, there could be a positive in there. But if that horse spooks in the stall and gets hurt because some kids are running around, you should make a contract of some sort. If you do do this, try and protect yourself and the current owner.
