 She was hurt in our pasture last night. Regenia was @ Wade's & then told me she had to go...emergency @ home. Well, Genia's stupid ass horse must have run off with her & bucked over the barb wire fence & flipped. He is all torn up. GEnia was just walking him by hand in the neighbors hay field when they found her. She was out of it....told REgenia she had not been riding...and argued her horse was fine....(blood going everywhere...) She kept asking where her dog was....and then begged Regenia to get her some advil. They got her to the hospital by saying they had to go to town to get Advil. Regenia found her mom's phone number in Genia's truck & her mom came in last night.

She has a severe head injury but supposed to be fine. She is in Terrell Hospital, room 407. They don't know when she will go home.

OMG!!!  That is horrible!!  I just saw Genia on Sunday... she's such a wonderful person...

waiting for her to come to dallas.  My husband just left Terrell hospital.  He said Genia seems in good state. She knew him, but kept saying she had a bad headache.  She knew he had gotten a haircut of all things. 

Lyndia is real upset, so I will stay here until they transferr to Baylor.  I think she will be in 4 ICU when she gets here, so she will not be able to get any flowers or things.  Will let you know.

Genia

is at Baylor in Dallas. She is in ICU right now.  NO VISITORS OR FLOWERS.  They are gonna move her to a room either tonight or tomorrow.  She has a severe concussion , short term memory loss.  All the cat scans are clear.  She is alert and answering questions.  Bothers her that she cant remeber what happened. 

They will be doing speech therapy and all so she will be in tests for the next few days. 

Until she gets ok for visitors and flowers

Praying for a quick and complete recovery.

I spoke to Genias Mom when I got to work.  Genia is in a private room now.  1135 Roberts at Baylor.  Her mom feels that she needs to rest a few days.  She is still wooozey ( more than normal)haha) She was still asleep so I didn't talk long. 
I spoke to Lyndia after that if you want to call you can call Lyndia"s cell or home Pat will be at home some.

Went up and saw her (helps that I work here and in security uniform, I don't get questioned about coming up), she is remebering thing from yesterday, still not Mon or Tues.  They are gonna get her up today.  she is doing real good, just can't move real fast or her head swims.  I am still printing the emails.

Went and saw Genia at Lunch, She was doing ok alittle nausated they made her work, she got up and walked.  They are talking about being released in the next day or two.
While up there her brother in law Richard was having severe head pain and we transported him to ED.  When I had to leave they were gonna do a Cat Scan .

Genia is the same, remebering little by little.  Still has headache and head swims when she gets up.  Mostly she is sleeping (w/darvocet) Lyndia and I can be talking and she never hears us.  Drs still want her to rest.  You can send flowers and cards. 

As for the other patient her brother inlaw Richard he was admitted to Jonson 215 they are doing a MRI and spinal tap.  He possibly had small hemmorage in back of neckl.  So Betty (genias mom) is going back and forth. 

They all need rest and prayers.

Also her horse is fine just scratched up.


Keep All including Lyndia in your prayers.

When she goes home possibly Monday- Lyndia said she was staying till then.
She will be going to Lyndias  and will have to have someone around  24/7 so if anyone wants to Genia sit I guess Lyndia can start an appt book.

Anyway I will continue to let you know if anything changes.  So I guess no news will be good news.

Genia is the same, headache, dizzy when she gets up, having to take darvacet for pain.

Her brother in law had MRI last nite no results yet

Her mom is very tired, and trys to rest when Genia is asleep.

Thanks so much for keeping us up to date.  I wish I could volunteer some of my time to help Lyndia next week but I'll be in Kansas with work.

Tell Genia we're all still thinking of her, and hope she recovers soon!
