Location: Karnack Texas | I have another suggestion or two. If you get there early enough you should all try to park in the same area. I suggest you park up on the hill. To get there you go past the office/store, continue on past the covered arena until you get towards the top of the hill. We have electrical and water hook-ups (no sewage), a picnic area and we have new stalls up there. You may have to request those stalls early, and quite frankly I don`t know if you can even request a certain stall (I try to stay out of the office (tooooo many people of a certain gender). Just kidding, they are great. But if you do requesat a stall, I have NOT said you could make that request.
I have also suggested something for the single people, Martha really liked the idea, but honestly I don`t think it will materialize, I don`t have the time to organize it. Besides, what I would organize wouldn`t be exceptable.
At this week-ends Easter clinic, Martha actually made it upstairs (with help)and was in attendance. She was the receipiant of a singing telegram, courtesy of Southern Horseman editor Tracy Thompson. "Tears a plenty" |

Location: southern Ohio | We're probably going to arrive Tuesday afternoon, (long trip) we will try to find a place in the new campgrounds up on the hill. I'd love to reserve spots for all of you..... but I don't think it's possible. Jaynie told me last week that people are already dropping off trailers! |

Maybe you ought to just do it, it may be more popular that the race! LOL!!! |

We went down a few years back, when the Reunion was the last event, and their were some people that left their trailers there for all three! |

Location: Louisiana | I'll be there and would love to park on the hill and have a stall there. I was at the ranch 4 times in the past 7 days! And Gary, I haven't seen you YET! Where do you hide?? Sure was a nasty afternoon yesterday for the clinic's final run. Yuck. I was glad I wasn't having to run in that. Let us pray for good weather for the Reunion! Jan Smith |

Location: southern Ohio | How 'bout this?.........Since we will probably get there close to first........I'll TRY to make some sort of BHW banner and have it as visable as possible. That way when you pull in you can get as close as possible! Hows that sound? |

Location: Karnack Texas | "Grits" The first time I left the ranch in several days was this morning at 5:30. Surely you weren`t a student at the clinic, I was in the arena almost all day Friday and saturday, then off and on yesterday. And yes it did get nasty late yesterday afternoon. When looking for me, find one of the staff and have them page me.
The single thing sounds like fun to me, most of us at the ranch are single, however there are a few that have future commiments to wonderful people. |

Location: Louisiana | Gary, I guess you were busy with the clinic when I was there. I was not a student this time. I went over Sunday a week ago to buy a girth (which Jaynie had to order for me), and since Hubby was with me, I didn't stay long. Then I went back last Thurs. to have a little "help session" with Chris, because he used to own the horse that I have now and I thought he could help me smooth out my first barrel. That turned out well, because all I needed was for Chris to tell me that I could trust my horse to turn the first barrel. I did trust him after he said that, got off his head, and he made the most beautiful run!! So I didn't have much of a session with Chris but got my problem fixed.
However, I mentioned to Chris that I was going to sell my little Paint that he likes so well, and he wanted me to bring him over. So I took my Paint back last Friday for him to show someone. He and Sheryl wanted to show him to someone without me there, so I left him there and went home. The people bought a different horse, so I went back yesterday to pick my horse up. That was during the rainy finals run. So I didn't stay long, as weather was not visitor friendly. I may have to take my horse back between now and the Reunion, if Chris has another prospective buyer for him, so I might see you then. If not, I'll be sure to find you during the Reunion! Jan |

Location: North Texas | OK Gary, what kinda stalls are on the hill. They weren't there when we were there in Dec. of 2002. I am going to have a box stall for my mare. She has turned into a real huzzy. She tries to kill everyone next to her when she is stalled. I parked on the hill when we were there in Dec. of 2002. I like it up there. Quiet. But if all of us BHW yeahoos get up there, it might not be so quiet. They might run us off. Oh! also, are we allowed to bring our dogs with us? I was planning on bringing my Aussi, but didn't want to get there and them say no dogs allowed. I will be looking for the BHW Banner. Please make it visible for a blind person. I sometimes have a problems of overlooking things when I am looking too hard for them. Gary, is there a way that you could reserve the hill just for us? We might even make it worth your while. I'll see how much cash I have when I get there. HE HE HE HE HE HE Just kidding. Though that would be nice. I know you can't do that. Just a thought. Gosh, I can't wait. |

Location: Karnack Texas | I suppose I could chain the gate shut going up there, but those poor folks already on the hill would be mighty hungery by the reunion.
I think I`m dropping the single`s thing, unless MJ tells me to revive it, there doesn`t seem to be much interest |
