Location: I'm lost - please tell me, I'm not on BHW again!!! | What color are her parents? Put the picture into your album first then try or see the attached a file to this thread after posting at the bottom of the page try that. If not go back into your files where the picture is stored on your hard drive and find the crop or resize button and make is smaller. |

Location: Oklahoma | I would say she's a bay and white...in the summer she just bleaches out to the buckskin color...I had a black horse that if left out would be buckskin by the end of summer...he bleached that badly. The dun color on her nose can be seen on a lot of bays...if she doesn't have a dorsal stripe, she's not dun, but buckskins don't have a stripe many times, so I guess you'll have to pick, but in the new look photo, I'd say bay and white. |

Location: texas | isn't she beautiful. she is actually my friends horse in texas. she hasn't registered her yet because she can't figure out what color she is. her mother is the palomino in the pictures and her father is a black and white. my friend is going crazy trying to figure out her color. this is the third color change she has had with this baby. |

Location: BFE, Texas | I pick dun/white. Unless there is NO dorsal stripe, then bucksk./white. Except for the white paint markings, she's the same color as my dun Driftwood gelding. He looks almost chocolate colored on his body in the winter, then sheds off lighter. He's out of a dun stud and buckskin mare(no dorsal stripes on true buckskins). If one parent is bay and the other palomino, a lot of bays have a dorsal stripe on their backs, which can pass on, then offspring would be dun. (I've had go rounds with AQHA over dorsal stripes! I even have a sorrel with a dorsal stripe! I call them red duns but nooooooo, his dam is the same buckskin mare(duns in her pedigree also!) and sire is sorrel, so therefore he's not dun, so his papers say sorrel with a dorsal stripe..go figure..vet and I still ha-ha over that one!)

Location: BFE, Texas | okay, since you just now posted sire is blk/wht, that makes her bucksk/wt. (from what I can see in the pics..jmo) Just an idea, I did this with my sorrel w/dorsal stripe, I sent them pictures and let them pick the color! That way if they mess up, it's their fault. Just leave the color open on the papers and send note for them to pick.

Location: In my own little HOT world | if sire is black & white and dam is palamino then i would go with buckskin&white if no dorsal stripe.. you know the apha will decide color if you can't |

| Hmm looks bay/white to me. But if she gets lighter and darker I would say buckskin or dun. My good horse is a registered dun, but changes from a light bay (dun), to a dark bay, to black in the winter (see my photo album "Jake"). |
