If you use a contract shipper it would be about $700.00 per horse with a slight discount for 2 horses. If you can find someone going that way with some room in their trailer you could probably get it done much cheaper. WIth the price of fuel shipping costs have gone up. If you would like I can give you the number of the shipper I use, they have a very nice rig, and they take great care of the horses.

I sold one to a girl in Florida last year and I think she said it cost her $575...but like 3drum said, with fuel costs going up, it probably is higher now. It also helps if you can find someone with a full rig...they usually charge less per horse.

Hey Giddy I am trying a ladys horse that is from FL. She will be traveling up to my soon with a horse trailer. I live in Topeka Ks. I know she will have room and it will be next week sometime. She would be more than willing to bring some horses to to since she is comming up here anyways. Let me know and I will give you her number.
