I just got back from THE BEST surprise and I just have to share. I work in a doc's office and they told us all that we HAD to go to a TWO hour HIPPA seminar. Doesn't that just sound like fun!
Well, we get over there and go to the area in the hospital to wait on our conference room for the seminar that's supposed to be put on and we see two huge white limos pull up outside. We're all looking thinking it's some big celebrity that's come to the hospital. Come to find out it was for all of us!
They sent us to the mall for 2 hours with a $50 gift card for employee appreciation day! What a surprise!! Here we were griping up a storm about that stupid HIPPA thing and instead we get to go to the mall. Not my normal routine, which was really a treat cuz I NEVER go to the mall and I'd never spend $$ like that on myself!
......and tommorrow we have lunch catered in for us from a drug sales rep from our favorite mexican place.
The good Lord has truly blessed me to let me work where I do. Life is good!
I would love for something like this to happen at my office... But working for the state I just dont see it happening!! Glad you had fun. A suprise is always a fun thing!!!

I work for the state too, right now were out of scotch tape and they won't order any more until the next fiscal year in July so I don't expect any nice surprises like that.
