Location: Texas | I recently bought a horse with out a vet check.. It ended up being a little shady. When I took her to the vet I was told that she has slight rotation in both front feet. My farrier has put an adhesive with a pad on her feet to correct the problem. My Vet seems to think that this will correct it as well (he also gave me a powder called integreter to mix with her feed). Has anyone ever dealt with this before and do you have any suggestions? A special feed or supplement? |

Location: Walking in the spiderwebs... | I have a boy who foundered off of water(yes water)when he was a baby. It caused the same thing only worse in my case. But the main thing that I have been told is not to feed very much high protein. I can't feed mine any at all, but since your case isn't as bad, I'm sure you could feed a small amout. They say it really makes them sore, and I could def. tell a difference. |
