OK Now the paint I bred to Moon last month. If she did not take she would be in on the 12. On the 13 she was coming in and on the 14 was in Big time. So I took her to the breeder on the 14. When we got there she wanted nothing to do with the stud. The breeder says she is not in and has not been since she got there! SO I am wondering whats up with that! If shes not in by the 2nd Im taking her to the vet. Could she be breed and just came in for a day or two?

In my experience, checking a mare for pregnancy with a stallion is not very reliable.  Mares can build follicles on their ovaries for quite some time even after they are pregnant, thus they will show signs of heat then too.

The only way to find out for sure is to get a good vet to either palpate or ultrasound the mare for pregnancy.  Preferably the ultrasound, but a mare's pregnant uterus will have a totally different feel to it even only at 18-20 days of pregnancy and a good palpator will feel the difference if she is bred.  Hope this helps.
