| Please welcome our final Cowgirl Tuff Entries. Getting all forms of entries in the mail etc. and scanned was a challenge but they are now ready for your review. You can vote three times from your computer, every day, so come back and visit your favorite girls and go tell your friends!
We will be adding larger pictures to some of the later entries thoughout the day, but the stories are your focus. Thanks for helping us pick . . . . the Tuffest Cowgirl.

When you click on a "voting hand" it should change color slightly. There will be no immediate tallies made public till the announcement. |

| Hi! Thanks for putting these up! The stories are GREAT! We have a question though, does everyone have to be a member on BHW to vote? Or can they vote through Facebook by chance?
Thanks so much again! |

We are still working out the bugs in this system today. The hands changing color etc are each being programmed to make the page more fun. |

This time around the voting will be done on this page only. You can link to this page though. |

Voting will last till Feb. 18. Barrel Horse World members are the only ones that can see this page, so yes. Board members only. If you're not a BHW board member, you just have to register, then you can vote. |

Your confusion is understandable given the hours you all have put in on making this contest work. |

| I've been corrected by the programmers of the page. Not all the voting "hands" are hooked up yet so vote tabulation will not begin till tomorrow morning. You can click all you want to today . . . and practice!
There were so many people anxious to see the finalists so we just posted what we have today.

So maybe I'm just being a blonde, but it says we can vote three times per day right? So do we just click the hand three times, or do we click it when it turns that pink color three times? I'm just really confused |

| Anna Bagshaw is one of the "tuffest", kindest, most incredible young ladies to ever enter the sport of barrel racing. She truely is one in a million. This year at the National High School Finals rodeo I was extremely sick with mono..Anna took care of all 5 of my horses for me every day. It didn't matter rather they needed fresh water or exercised, I knew I never had to worry because she would have it covered. Pretty amazing for a 7th grader. I came into the short round leading the all around because of Anna. There's no way I could've done it without her help. Gunny and Anna were a wonderful team and it breaks my heart to read their story. That experience is nothing anyone should have to go through, especially a little girl. Anna is definitely COWGIRL TUFF! |

Doesn't bother me that I'm in the same age group! Anna's story touched me deeply.. One of my first barrel horses passed from a heart attack, one of the worst moment in my life.. I am blessed to have my gelding, Chevy now (Nikki Berg and Chevy), but I will never forget, Ozzie, he was awesome!
Good luck Anna! |

Am I really the Weirdo?
Location: Kansas | I've seen Anna Bagshaw compete since she was probably 4 or 5 years old and I remember one summer she was riding with a cast on one arm - but still winning - on a little bay pony. I literally cried when she lost Gunny because that is every barrel racer's worst nightmare and not something anyone so young should have to go through. But ya know what, the next time I saw her, she was kicking butt on another horse. One of my favorite pictures I've ever taken was of Anna and my youngest brother at a horse show when they were probably 6 or 7 years old. She was sitting on her horse, he was on the fence and they were leaned toward each other talking about something with big smiles on their faces. It is actually framed on the wall at home and every time I see it I think about how they were such good friends that summer even though he was trotting through the patterns and she was going full speed. I used to tell him he needed to hurry and snap her up before she became a famous barrel racer! LOL

| You might try clicking the thumb when you go into it, be patient, it sometimes take a little bit and it should turn back white, at least that is what has happened on our home computers. Then you should be able to click it again to go back red. Hope it works. |
