My gelding recently had a small tear in his superficial flexor tendon in October, his first injury he's ever had. After 45 days stall rest, the tear has healed itself. I can start him back riding on the first, however I've been looking into the Back On Track polo wraps and was curious as to how well they work, if they're worth the money spent, or if there is a different product that would be better when he goes back to work? We're very competitive, so keeping him healthy and sound is very vital to our season and I'd like to do everything possible to prevent him from re-injuring himself. He's 17 so things don't always heal as fast as they used to!
I have BOT hock boots and I like them, just not sure if the $80 polos are worth the expense!

They are awesome for healing. The no bows should be what you would need & should run around 60. I am a firm believer in bot products. I had two horses with torn suspensories and the bot products cut their healing time in half & I have never had a problem since.

Thanks for the responses!
I also looked into the PHT 3-in-1 and I really like the concept of it, especially since it covers exactly where his injury occurred. There's so many products on the market these days it's hard to choose one and hope it's the right choice!

phillyincal - 2013-12-30 5:27 PM I am very impressed with BOT. I have tendonitis in my wrist and have been wearing their wrist wrap and boy has it helped! I have almost no pain at all anymore. I would definitely go with BOT products!
This is why I ordered the horse products! I have a knee brace because I have a horrible knee! I have no pain at all now & I don't wear it very often. I also sleep with The human blanket every night & can tell a huge difference if I don't!
