I need to know cost per month for treatment and cost per month for maintenance, along with your pitch to try to get me to buy. I am a complete believer in Ulcergard and the need to use it, but am in a money crunch right now .. but have to do something for ulcers... and GO!

| I recently ordered a bunch for $140 plus shipping from Dr. Ford. Its in a tube form, easy to administer, and has a buffering agent that is generic but comparable to ulcer guard's patented carrier system. I used OTC but i don't feel my gelding got all treatments bc it was hard to administer and time. He was showing symptoms of ulcers and now he is not...so I'm assuming it worked. |

Omeprazole is a proven healer of ulcers at the correct concentration leavel per day. 2.28 grams per day. UlcerCure OTC also has Calcium Carbonate (Tums) to buffer acid to help ulcer heal. Aspartame so it will taste good. Treating is very easy. Treating for ulcers is 1 scoop per day of the 20cc scoop. $3 per day Treating for maintenance is 1/2-1 scoop per day of the 10cc scoop. Depending on the horse. So that is either .75-$1.50 per day for maintenance.
I have had clients have their horses scooped before and after with the ulcers totally healed. Most clients suspect ulcers but don't know for sure and just run a treatment.
If your horse has ulcers, and UlcerCure OTC doesn't heal them it is a 100% money back guarantee! Probably the best answer about the success of my product would come from the people that have used it from BHW.
With that said, UlcerCure OTC doesn't solve bad behavior. I have only had to return money once because the woman didn't know if her horse had ulcers or not and during the treatment she wasn't seeing any improvement in her horses behavior and wanted her money back so I returned it.
UlcerCure OTC doesn't guarantee your horse will do back flips after a treatment!

I agree with this. Bob knows the ins and outs of his products. I am a believer because I have used them and have seen results. I know Bob has studies done that include vets and some of the top trainers in the business. GastroPLUS produces results on front and hind gut ulcers. I have heard hind gut are rare, but it is nice to know they are being taken care of. I'll show this to Bob and see if he can give you all the details of his great ulcer supplements. |

Ok real question, is there side effects in horses from long term use of omperazole type products? I have been on the stuff and had a few issues myself. |

It is not good to dose a horse for long periods of time with ulcer treatment level. They need to be cycled on and off. No product of any kind should be used for long periods of time. |

Ok so like a top dressing on feed? It contains the same amont of omeparzole as the paste? Do you still treat once a day for 28 days? |

its not its fast, and the big syringes leave a lot in the tip.........i have used this method for a few years now and always had good success with no wasted meds...

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | This is a from some of the professionals at Total Health, I just received this in an email to better explain GastroPLUS.
What makes T.H.E. unique is that we think outside of the box with all of our products. GastroPLUS specifically works completely differently than other ulcer products. Most ulcer products reduce the acid in the stomach. Even though that is what causes ulcers it is not the main issue at hand. Sometimes when you reduce the acid your horse can get protein entropy or when you take them off the horse over produces the acid and the ulcers come back worse therefore creating a vicious cycle. Our product increases the mucus lining in the horses stomach therefore helping the horse to contain and control the acid. Also our product is a complete supplement therefore it is not just for ulcers. It is also for digestive functioning and has the amino acids, vitamins and minerals your horse would need to stay healthy. My increasing mucus throughout the whole gestational track it enables us to be able to reach the hind gut. GastroPLUS is also go for horses with gestational issues such as diarrhea or a soft stool. It is safe to use long term. Most of the racehorses on our products get GastroPLUS daily at the racetrack.
I also have several scope pictures to show before and afters. pm me emails and I will forward away, just don't be eating a sammich while you look at them |

Location: IL | Sounds like you should use the OTC to treat ulcers and then to maintain them use the gastroplus for THE. I wouldn't want to keep my horse on the omparzole long term. If the gastroplus from THE makes the stomach lining better and also helps hindgut, that would be the key. JMO So far that's what I've gotten from this post. |
