I'm actually in North Scottsdale but can travel.   Needing xrays, hock injections and potentially an SI injection.  Thank God tax return season is close!!  Thanks in advance.

I sent you a pm. Be careful as many of the vets in that area charge beyond ridiculous. Ask what it's going to cost before you get something done.

Dr Ellis at Performance Equine Specialist. He has a mobile hospital and he is really good! He is set up at the futurities in Buckeye. He x-rayed and injected a horse for us last year and was awsome!

I think I saw his website and it seemed like he did more surgeries and diagnostics than anything. Is he good with injections? Sorry if this is a dumb question!

Dr. Elaine Carpenter at Cave Creek Equine- www.cavecreekequine.com.  And yes she is expensive, but she has never missed a thing on any of my horses.  She also has all the cool diagnostic machines right there at the clinic so everything can be done in house.  She will spend half a day with you to figure out what is wrong with your horse if needed.  Last time I went she watched my horse move in a round pen with deep ground, then a round pen with hard ground, then the flexion tests were done- after each test she would tell me her theory and ask if I wanted to treat or procede with more diagnostic testing.  She does everything from a test with hoof testers to MRI and nuke scan.  And is a surgeon as well.  Can't say enough good things about her.  Good luck!

I like Dr. Ellis and have had good success with his hock injections-
eta: Dr. Shawn Sullivan is also great with injections- and he is right close to you and mobile as well.  Here's his website: http://azhorsevet.com.  Good luck- Elaine is still definitely my favorite!  :)
