I've been a long time oxygen supplement user and due to border regulations, I've had to change. I've done some research and am moving towards switching to Platinum Performance feeds, however there's only 2 products out of the whole Platinum line that's available in Canada, those are
Platinum Performance (equine health and wellness) NOT the CJ and Platinum GI (Canada's version of Bio Sponge)
Just wondering how many people feed platinum and what the benefits of platinum over Oxygen if any that I'll notice!!

Platinum is not a feed, it's a supplement. Bio sponge works great if you need it. Why won't Canada let the CJ in? Weird. Anyway, I had one horse do well on it and the other got a dull coat and didn't do very well.

Yes I'm well aware it's a supplement not a feed, and I'm not 100% sure why the CFIA won't approve the CJ, I've talked to both the canadian dealer and the U.S. company's head office both through email and phone conversations and never really got a full explanation as to why those 2 products are the only ones allowed! Canada doesn't let anything that could be a medicated feed across its border and anything with bone meal or animal by products in it (I'm told, whether that's the full truth I'm not sure), I do appreciate your feedback :)

E.T.A- yes I'm aware that most equine supplements do not have bone meal or animal by products in it and as well a lot of the companies don't supply to Canada because of the high costs of getting their products approved as well as the risk of suppliers ordering a shipment and having it stuck or seized at border due to constant changes and/or loopholes as well as with the dollar differences it's not overly profitable either

I used Oxygen for about a year. I felt that I did not get the results that I wanted from the Oxygen. At the time, I switched back to Equipride. I have used Platinum for about 3 years now. My horses look fantastic and perform well.
