| I just paid $63 for a bag of Renew Gold. I have fed this for years. I am not sure if I will keep it up if the prices keep going up. I love my horses on this supplement. Is everyone else paying this price? |

Location: Willows, CA | I don't know where you bought it, but that kind of price did not come from us. Everything has gone up this year for all aspects of production, from ingredients to power to freight. The price of Renew Gold has gone up about 8% on average. Independent feed stores can charge whatever they want, and we are not allowed by law to interfere with what is charged at retail. I would sure shop around. On that note. Renew Gold is fixed formulated. That means that we make it the same, with the same quality ingredients, every time. If your feed has not gone up in price this year then the manufacturer has substituted cheaper ingredients to keep production costs down and still puts it in the same bag. Least cost formulated feed is different every time that you buy it. Only the outside packaging remains the same. Bulk fillers and cheap byproduct substitutes do nothing positive for you horse. Poorly formulated and produced, least cost horse feed is the most expensive feed in the market. The reason this is true is that a lot of what goes into the bag is just there to make it look like you are getting volume for your money without contributing to quality overall nutrition for your horse. |

| Thanks for the replies everyone. I wonder if there is somewhere to order it online? It is a feed store and I am in a small town in Idaho. |

Do you have a Tractor Supply near you? If so check with them. |

| My local Southern States started carrying RG - at $63 per bag for regular and $71 per bag for senior. Tractor supply has raised the price a little, from $32 per bag for regular up to $38 and a similar jump in the senior. I don't understand why SS would charge so much more, it's not like each bag is $30 to ship! |

I don't understand why SS would charge so much more, it's not like each bag is $30 to ship! All the distribution systems pay the same price, and most order by the truck load. If they order less than a truck load without something else filling out the load the freight per bag ends up being much higher. The stores are the same. If they order just a few bags the freight per bag is high to get from the distributor to the store. Those that order RG along with other items don't get hit so hard. Renew Gold has gone up in production costs about 8% in the last year, but that would not put it in the store at the high prices quoted without several parts of the distribution and retail taking a very large margin or working with awful freight charges. All that said, one bag of RG will typically replace about three to four bags of conventional grain based feed. Considering many of those are now over $20 per bag, that is still less money when cost per horse per month is figured. And, with Renew Gold you get a fully functional formulation with no crap fillers and vague, least cost formulated, ingredients. In most locations the stores seem to be doing fine pricing the original RG in the high $30 range. I know some distribution systems are offering promotion pricing and coupons from the Manna Pro distribution system. I would sure shop around for that price point.

My Tractor Supply gets 10-12 bags in weekly so that is where I get mine. Comes in on Thursday and sometimes I get it straight off the pallet! I go through 6-8 bags per month with 4-5 adults and 1 weaner, so much much less expensive than any other bag of feed. With the high quality alfalfa my guys always look and feel great. |

Location: MI | I get mine auto-shipped from TSC every few weeks, two bags at a time (shipping is free over a certain dollar amount). I just double-checked and it's still $31.99 per bag for me. Located in Michigan. |

If your price has gone up that much give us a call. We will try to find you a proper deal. There is no reason for the price to be double. 855 377 3639 Win |
