I have a 7 yr old mare I have been treating for a navicular spur for the past year. She had a dose of Oshpos in July 2016 and again in February 2017. MRI today shows deep flexor tear. Anyone know how long it takes to get out of the system and safe to breed?

My vets have all told me there is no safe time. There isn't any research on longevity of drug in system and effects on babies. Dang sure not within 2 years

curious, too. My vet said we would be fine to breed. It's been several months.

My vet told me anytime is fine, but that completely contradicts the drug warning. I don't need any more problems.

My vet said a couple of weeks. I was worried as well and am glad you posted this thread.
