Location: Texas...where dreams come true | I'm getting ready for our big 4th of July run and needing more ideas on what kind of food to take to fix in the trailer ect. I usually keep it pretty simple and do the same thing, but I'm needing some good ideas on what to take. Eating the same thing pretty much every weekend is getting old. HELP!! |

Location: Kansas | I live on sandwiches during rodeo season. I store sliced meat in ziplock baggies and I'll buy a chunk of cheese (I hate American and its the only thing they sell pre-sliced) then slice it up and put it in baggies to go in the ice chest. Also I like to haul grapes in the summer because they're an easy cool snack, and I've found some beef sticks that I like as well. We're also falling in love with Penguins, the Goldfish cracker knockoffs from Walmart, as something to eat while we drive. I figure that its about as cheap to eat one meal out every day as it is to buy groceries and fix something at the trailer for every meal. We usually don't eat big meals on the weekends and kind of plan on filling up with snacks like Penguins, chips, beef sticks or jerky, or even better, ICE CREAM! That really hits the spot when its 95 degrees at 10 p.m. lol. |

Location: The best kept secret in TX | I recently changed how I eat due to Hyperglycemia. Fruits, veggies, and chicken is what I'll be taking. You can get a steam pot from Walmart and make steamed veggies in the microwave pretty easily and quickly. I also have a NuWave oven I plug in and use to grill the Chicken in. It makes a huge difference. I freeze my veggies in the freezer in the trailer until I'm ready to cook them. I've stuck with it for two weeks and it's really easy to make super quick.
ETA: The NuWave oven and microwave don't make the trailer hot like turning on the big oven does!

Location: Oregon | new favorite thing to have when camping/on the road with the trailer. Stir Fry! Get a few bags of frozen stir fry veggies, some stir fry meat and some teriyaki sauce. cook the meat, add the veggies and teriyaki sauce and cook until veggies are done. fed 3 of us for about $6-8. |
