Location: Missouri | Watched it tonight. LOVED it! Way better than the first movie, imo. Haven't read the books, so can't comment on whether or not it follows them. |

Don't get me wrong the first movie was good, but I just felt like they left a bunch out. My husband hasn't read the books and he liked the first movie and he doesn't really get into movies like that.
I am still excited about going to see the second movie though. I was going to go tonight but I forgot until my mom told me that was where my sister was. grrr... by then it was too late for me. So hopefully soon I can talk my husband into going with me, or maybe I will just go by myself lol. I read all the books and just watched the 1st movie a couple months ago. The movie followed the book well, I just was expecting so much more from the movie. It was a let down.
It did follow it well. I guess knowing what she was thinking in the book made it 10 times better for me. Still a good movie, but not as great as I had hoped.
My mom always tells me not to read the book before watching the movie lol, but I would rather read the books anyday so even if the movie is less then expected I still enjoy the books. |

Location: southwest GA | I saw it last night and LOVED it also! One of the best book-to-movie adaptions I've seen! (even better than the first IMO) There were only a few 'bigger' details that it seems were left out, but you can only cram so much into it I suppose and the most important parts were almost word-for-word. |

Location: PA | Went last night and it was really great. There was a different director, Francis Lawerence, for the second movie so it was a different and better feel than the first. As always there was some little things left out but nothing major. Everything tied in perfectly and i agree that is one of the best adaptations I've seen in a while. (I read and loved the books)
