So as you all have seen, I'm searching for a maker to build me a custom saddle. I thought I decided on Triple Creek, but then started to research to find other makers and came across Las Vegas Custom Tack. Its a duo that makes and sells the saddles. Frank Vega makes them and I can't remember the girl's name that does the marketing/customer service/I don't know what else LOL Just wondering if any of you have had one from them and what you thought? Do they tend to fit a variety of horses? What is the quality like? I think they're beautiful saddles, but want to know if they're made to last.

I think its the same family but I have a Vega Roper that I have had almost 30 years. It is the best saddle I have ever owned. Had it made when I was 18 and it has been on thousands of horses and colts and roped ALOT of steers. It is still in great shape and solid.
If it is the same  people, I wouldnt hesitate.

You can pick the tree you want.  My friend had hers made on a wide flex tree & it fits her colt & but doesn't fit smaller horses as well, needs padded up.  A regular flex tree would probably fit a larger variety of horses.  If you don't want a flex tree you can choose from a variety of regular trees.  The workmanship and leather quality is great, every bit as good or better than my Double J saddles & loads above my Sibley.  I would honestly compare the leather to anything made with Herman Oak leather.    I would not hesitate to get one if I had the money.

Hello everyone ... I started Las Vegas Custom Tack. I work with Frank Vega creating beautiful custom saddles as well as top notch trophy saddles. I am in Las Vegas, Frank is in Texas, we have been working together for at least 6 years, time flies! Let me start by saying THANK YOU everyone for the great feedback. Frank is a the real deal... a genuine saddle maker, second generation to be exact, his father was making saddles back in the 1950's with Billy Cook. LVCT started as a fun way to showcase Franks superior craftsmanship. I help people create their dream saddles and pass on the savings of working directly with the maker himself. You can see our saddles at "LAS VEGAS CUSTOM TACK" on Facebook. I do this more for fun, outside my full time job so please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding prices, trees, fit, turnaround time etc. I can talk saddles for hours. Just leave a VM if you're interested in a Frank Vega saddle. 702-533-7799. Happy Holidays!
