These are all listed on the futurity calendar .com

Go to the futurities you can afford to go to. This will be my first year and I went bat sh*t crazy and entered the Damond's n dirt. I'm in ND so I will keep a diary, an extremely honest one, and share it with anyone who's interested when its over.

Hammer the rules! Run for every side pot you can! Amature status is a free bee if you don't take outside horses or giving lessons. Run amature if you can. But you cannot have a wpra permit and aqha amature. Little thing like that matter.

You guys cam pm me if you have ny questions about what I'm doing but I'm in now way awesome. Hauling gets to be a problem for us also be use of our lovely winters. You cannot afford to mss anything! Your horse needs to know the dinference between compete time and train time. My mare is just figuring this out and now all the races are over for the winter.

I have entered the Sand Cup and the VGBRA in the northwest, they are both great Futurities. The VGBRA is in a small arena and can be a little tuff if you colt isn't used to running on that small of a pattern. The Sand Cup is a standard set. I also suggest carrying your time over to the open, I know its more money but you never know were your time might fall. I think the Payments start in Feb. I have a 2015 Futurity colt that if shes ready I want to take her the Arizona Futurities and maybe more, I have already started saving LOL.

There are also a few in Idaho later in the year - like June-ish? One in Caldwell, one in Gooding, and another has been added in Eastern Idaho. Definitely start saving, and writing all the dates down for fees - I only entered one my horse's 5 yr old year, and it was only because it had the 2D sidepot that I knew I had a better change of hitting based on that time...it was a good experience if nothing else! There was a link on Facebook a week or so ago that had a website who listed all of the futurities...I'll try and find it!
