| The back end of the website is not built , estimated that 1/3 of those signed actually are not. Insurance companies are going to estimate reimbursement costs, government will issue checks and revisit actual costs later because payment part of website not built and functioning. Absolutely beyond words what a debacle this is. |

Location: Kansas | I find it unnerving that the WH is so concerned with the 30 milllion they say are without coverage, many of whom are deadbeats, while millions of hardworking Americans are having their insurance cancelled or rates doubled and tripled.
I don't get it. We've always taken care of our poor.

I shy away from conspiracy theories as a rule but I have come to terms that this is in fact a way to redistribute the wealth and the ACA was never meant to be functional.
Just a new distraction by the whitehouse to move away from Obamacare......a new federal gas tax on fuel legislation. The liberal news was all over it blaming it on "congress" until they found out it was a democrat that is proposing the legislation. The liberal news throws around the word congress knowing that few liberals understand that democrats are part of congress it is not a republican thang only.

This was the part that blew me away last night when I heard it. Basically, this evil wicked man and his cohorts are handing insurance companies a blank check and allowing them to "estimate" the bill to the fed, before the service is even provided. Who the hell does business this way? They are essentially saying "go ahead and take what you want, and we can settle up later." It's like buying a horse from someone and handing them a signed blank check, and allowing the seller to fill in any amount they deem reasonable, with the understanding that you can do the dickering later on, AFTER the sale. Anyone with half a brain can see what this brazen tyrant is trying to do. He's buying off the insurance companies, because he knows they hold a vital capacity to derail ObamaCare.....so he is bribing them with billions of dollars to cover ANY cost they "estimate" is forseeable. This is an untouchable tyrant who can't be touched and now we are seeing D'Sousa's movie go from a horror film to reality right before our very eyes. Like an evil octopus, Obama's destructive tentacles are reaching out in all directions to usurp power away from the other two branches of government. He's rendering congress powerless and eliminating them from any useful purpose. Basically, Adolf Hitler did the same thing in Germany in the early 1930s. People had better start paying attention. I believe this country is lurching toward an all out dictatorship. Our only hope is that this wicked man does something to awaken a sleeping giant within this country, and soon! |

Location: ND | none of those in the medical field should be surprised by this at all.....this is actually the standard for reimbursement when it comes to medicare.....medical facilities are payed an estimated amount and at year end, the actual amount is calculated and either facilities pay the excess back or medicare pays more to the facility......this can be huge amounts from one year to the next and is also very dependent on rule changes from CMS |

| I find funny that the 4 examples O gave in his speech yesterday of people who benefited from the ACA had not signed up for the ACA. One was young person on parents insurance till 26, another was pre existing conditions, the third was the removal of he cap in benefits- all reforms that could have been achieved without the ACA.

Location: Bastrop, Texas | This is different than Medicare. It sounds to me like this is tantamount to an open-ended bailout of insurers. This was an executive action taken in response to Obama's pathetic attempt to dictate that people who were dropped from their private plans could have those plans reinstated. He inserted this via executive action.....a desperate, knee jerk reaction. |
