If this isn't allowed PLEASE delete or I can do it if private messaged or told... I didn't see anything in the rules about this, or I did but just didn't understand it.
I however don't agree with this.... You cannot silence our belief on live TV or in closed doors. I as a christian stand true to Jesus and always will. No one told the Muslims to knock of their praying to Allah because it offended us did they??

I have noticed more now a days then ever(not just because of our president, but I think he's partially the issue). We have been told to shut out mouths and if we pray keep it to ourselves. The bible teaches us and tells us to pray as Psalm 5:3 states.....
"My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning I will direct my prayer to You, and I will look up."
Even further in depth with the bible we are told to voice our prayer. We never told the Muslims they couldn't pray to there God. Why are they judging us and tell us we can't pray to ours?? I see no making of sense Logic in that. |

| There was a thread about this when it happened months ago.
Phil Robertson said we pray or no show. They are still praying, so obviously the powers at be at A & E backed down. They should have known better...DD is the most popular thing out there right now. They'd have shot themselves in the foot if they had cancelled it. |

seriously though, had i known a&e told them to quit praying, and they complied, I would have quit watching. Love that they stood up for their beliefs. |

Unlike in Dearborn, Michigan a church was told that it could no longer ring it's bells because it was "disturbing the peace". Then the city turned around and granted the Muslims the right to broadcast their call to prayer over loudspeakers 6 or 7 times a day?
How is that fair or impartial? |

Both Phil and Jep had a prior drug problem. It's no secret, they talk about it often in interviews and how they overcame it with God in their lives. |

Location: NC | I'm about DD'ed out. Too much overexposure every time I go shopping. They're on EVERYTHING!!!! From toilets to towels to teddy bears to single wide trailers!!! Even eye glasses!! I can't go anywhere without seeing one of their faces.
I used to be a fan. But I can't remember the last time I watched the show. I see enough just walking through Walmart. I see Si's giant face every morning I drive to school on the side of a trailer at Clayton homes.
It's getting really old, really fast. A&E sold them out fast & to their maximum capacity possible. It's kind of sad really. But people are eating it up.
And the whole 'don't pray on TV' thing is old news. It happened in 2012. And it had nothing to do with Muslims. I wish people would stop with that mess. It was just a suggestion from the producers to widen the viewership. That's it. |

Location: California | I respect them more for staying true to who they are. This is silly if the producers are telling them to change. The show is a representation of a different lifestyle than a lot of us are used to and that is why I watch it. Where I live in California we don't have many who eat squirrels and walk around wearing camo . That is part of the appeal for me.
As far as the praying , I am not religous AT ALL but the fact that they are and openly pray on the show has never one time made me consider not watching it. That is just silly if they think it is bothersome. If you are a watching a reality TV show and you don't like their behavior , don't watch it . I highly doubt them cancelling the praying would have any effect on a dip in viewers. Live and let live .
