| I sometimes feel guilty for asking for prayers because my situation or problems I'm having aren't always as bad as other's on here, but I really feel that the power of prayer is amazing! Sooo I'm going to ask for some prayers. I don't like to talk to people I'm close with about this stuff a whole lot and I'm not sure why? About the only one is my boyfriend, but when some of it has to do with him I can't always do that. He has days where I can tell that the deaths of his family members, which have happened in the last year and a half, just tear him apart. He won't talk about it but I can tell. His birthday was the 30th and things didn't go exactly as planned because he couldn't get his new drivers license (he turned 21,lol) so I knew that put him in somewhat of a grumpy mood but as the day went on he sat by himself and wouldn't really communicate with me, and had tears in his eyes. Being the guy he is, he tried hiding it...but I just tried asking him what was wrong and of course he wouldn't say and he doesn't need to...he held on to his mom's dog and wouldn't talk or look at me. So I just sat beside him and kissed his forehead and rubbed his arm and hair and let him know how much I loved him and that he can talk to me whenever he wants about anything, that I'm always here. It kills me to see him in pain. I knew exactly what was wrong because the most important woman, his mom, isn't here as she left us last year with his uncle and grandfather. I've deleted a lot of everything I was going to write because it'd be too long, and can't help but cry when I write this because he means so much to me. I have to add that he's come a long way and is doing so much better than he was last year...because I was worried about his life last year. I know this all takes time and am not asking or expecting him to heal or anything like that overnight, I just need some prayers to help him be comforted by God through all this and for me to be that support he needs. I have a few other unspoken prayer requests as well. I'm praying for all of you that are going through tough or confusing times or just need a prayer or two about somethin, as well as people who have posted on here that they or their family needs prayers. Thank you all <3 |
