My hands are always cold unless I have gloves on.  I can't find any that will allow me to fill hay nets, open bottles, snaps, or any little things that fingers are needed for. Any recommendations please?

Not really.
I bought goatskin gloves last week at the local COOP and I can do everything but text with them on. They aren't super warm but they keep the chill off and hay doesn't stick to them.

I got some winter mitten/gloves , 3 fingered mittens? from State Line Tack quite a few years ago that I loved. My hands would always be warm, and having my pinky free left me to hold the reins the way I like, and gave my fingers a little more mobility. They were like these: http://www.onestopequineshop.com/Horze-Padded-3-Finger-Mittens_p_13... there is a waterproof pair too that I think I'm getting for Christmas.

I've really liked the Cutting Horse gloves with Thinsulate (I think), and they actually make a pair small enough for my hands. They are my go to chore gloves.
I bought my first pair of Isotoners for this past weekend's single digits in Tulsa. They have a fleece type lining in them and are water resistant...$14 at Walmart. But they were really nice and I ended up wearing them most of the weekend instead of my leather gloves because I could saddle in them, and they had a lot of "feel" in them when I rode. And they were warm. I did have to take them off to put boots on my horse, because they did stick to the velcro, but that was my only problem all weekend.

Look at the ones on the Duluth website. They make clothes and accessories for working people. I love their ladies jeans.

I have Under Armour gloves that I LOVE.   That is what I ride in the most.   I also have these that are pretty nice:   http://www.totes-isotoner.com/manzella/product/manzella-equinox-touchtip-gloves-women-o387w.do?sortby=ourPicks

I wear thinsulate insulated leather gloves - Kinco is the brand.  Cheap and buy them at Runnings....our local farm store.  I have no problem doing anything in gloves.

Tip for you: buy a box of latex gloves and wear them under a pair of thinner gloves. Keeps your hands pretty warm and dry!

Makes for comfy riding when it's windy

I wear sun ice ski gloves. I can do anything I want in those. However I don't know if they make them anymore. My gloves are at least 20 years old.

I use the blue/white ones on the left.  They aren't the warmest, but you won't freeze in them. Hay doesn't stick and somehow I can still text with them.  Might depend on your phone though.http://www.ssroping.com/gloves/

Define "stuff"... I can think of lots of stuff I can do while wearing winter gloves... none of which include handling small things..

'Gore Tex/Thinsulate' are the best.. Thinsulate is the insulation used in space suits.. Gore Tex is the fabric invented that has a weave tight enough to repel a water molecule from the outside.. yet loose enough to allow water vapor/sweat molecules to wick their way outward from the skin..

I tried the rubber gloves, but it did not keep my hands warmer!
