I have a 9 month old and I'd like to get a little extra income. How did you get started, any tips?

Mostly, I'm poor and got bored!
I don't have the leather working equipment, I just have conchos, rhinestones and glue.
If you are planning to sell, you'll probably want better quality rhinestones. I get mine off of Ebay and they work for me, but they aren't swarovski, which some people just have to have. Mine sparkle quite well because of the cut, not the brand.
I use Gem Tack glue and haven't had any problems. Some tack makers use some sort of resin to cover the rhinestones so they don't fall off. If selling specifically, I'd try to figure something out.

Just buy plain sets & spice them up anyway you want......buying all the equipment & tools needed to make tack from sctrach will NOT be cheap!
Good luck, have fun!
