I'm so excited about this one I'm picking up soon. Will get pics after I do.  Opinions on pedigree?

What do you plan to use this horse for? I guess you already know it, but it's cow bred. Is it registered with the Foundation QH?

Ahead of Time was a race horse. i galloped him and rode him in match races. The people that owned him ran at Sallisaw, Ok and Ruidoso, but did a lot of match racing, too. he shin bucked pretty bad as a two year old and they blistered him-one of the hottest blister jobs I'd ever seen. he was a good looking horse, very well bred and i never had any problems with him.

My favorite mare I've ever had was out of a daughter of Ahead of Time.

I had a mare that went back to Bueno Chex Docie.  I loved the mare, have no idea if it was the Shining Spark or Bueno Chex that I liked though.  She was overly cowy and could scoot, only sold her because she came down with bad case of carpal arthritis.

There are a few horses back on the pedigree that I like- Freckles Jewel, The Chex bred horse and the Mr Gunsmoke.

According to "my trainer" (lol) Mr Gunsmoke & Doc Bar, take a lot of riding & can be hot. My colt is Mr Gunsmoke bred, plus Doc Bar top n bottom. (they are aways back, however, this colt will go n go n go.) Give him a breather & he will go some more. Trainer said it would take 30 mins of loping circles before he would even start on teaching him something, just because he needed to ride the edge of him n get him a little less energetic!!! Thinks he'll make a horse, but with this colt you have to take your time!!!

Thanks for all the replies!  I'm hoping that maybe being turned out will help with some energy LOL.  I'm pretty excited about her and she is a gorgeous grey!
