| We have been without water since Monday - our well collapsed. They tried to drill one yesterday and the spot they picked didn't work due to tree roots. We have a very bad winter storm headed this way and I am praying they can get the job done today. Please keep your fingers (and toes) crossed for us! We've been using the living quarters trailer for water and showers but I'm really afraid to keep water in it if the temps continue to fall - I've got the heat on in it and so far, it's been okay. Thank heavens I filled the horse tanks on Sunday. |

Location: Kansas | Many prayers.....we had something like that happen, and another incident where a sewer line broke in the city's water lines (small town) and ended up having to go a month without running water.
I had to haul water in to fill the horses tanks, and we drank bottled water. I took showers at my grandma's house before work. It's horrible, many prayers for you |

If you were close to me I would tell you to load the horses up and come on. |

| Spent a good portion of the summer showering in the horse trailer because my water heater was out. I certainly feel for you having to do this in the winter. Jingles to the well-diggers that they hit pay-water quickly! |

| Thanks everybody! You all are great! I'm at work, so I had my boyfriend drain the water out of the trailer - it is just too cold. He then blew the lines out and put anti-freeze in the p-traps. I'll stop on the way home to get containers for water and some bottled water. We should be okay - just maybe a little stinky by the end of the weekend! |

| Thanks for all of the positive thoughts! The well diggers have been here since about 2:00, they still think we will have water today!
