That is better than someone working and leaving the puppy alone all day. (Which is what most people have to do.) They are super cute! No there's nothing wrong with it. The conversation started that way with having a person to watch it and then the questions turned to, how they would handle being alone and had they been left alone...so like you said it went from a good idea to, this pup would probably be left alone all day. I got the vibe that they were trying to arrange someone to watch it and that person said no, so they were trying to find a way to make it work but I think they realized it wasn't a good idea. I hate having to find homes for animals. Sometimes I feel like I am too picky but I just want them to have the best chance at living to adulthood and having a good life.
You be picky all you want, thats the way I am when I would be trying to find a home for animals that were dumped off at my place. You just want them to have a forever home. I always tell them if it dont work out to please bring the animal back so i can try again to find a good home.  |

| Do these people who dump these little puppies and kittens realize what happens to them if the coyotes find them first! How can anyone leave a scared, helpless little animal to get hit by a car, stave to death, etc. is something I could never understand. It just turns my stomach to think about it. They don't always get the chance of being rescued by someone as caring as you and your mom. Several years ago, my brother was hauling trash to the city dump and found a box with a small mama dog with 4 nursing puppies in it just thrown out with the rest of the garbage. She was so scared. He ended up keeping the mama dog and found home for the puppies. She was extremely sweet. |

Location: Texas | I don't know what people think. I counted and I believe we have picked up 19 animals since 2008 on this one road. Indirectly we have gotten another 4 cats since we have moved here. We have found homes for most of them but definitely have a lot more animals than before we moved here!
I don't know if they just don't think about what could happen to them- if they block out the idea they could get killed by coyotes or hit by a car. I don't know if they do not care- maybe they just want them gone and don't care if they get killed. Maybe they've driven by while we stop time after time and know someone down the road will take them in.

I have a friend who makes her living puppy sitting. Both daycare and long term boarding. She is a big time dog lover and great at her job. |

Location: Never in one place long |  ALL I CAN SAY IS WHAT THE HECK is WRONG with PEOPLE!!! GET YOUR ANIMALS FIXED AND MAN up to your responsibility! If you create a problem DON"T make it someone elses...learn from your mistakes and get your DANG animal fixed and find the pups homes YOURSELF..... NOTHING Makes me more angry.... so glad your Mom took them in! |
