Location: South Carolina | OK so I am wanting your guys opinions on what a good cross would be on my two mares. They are currently bred to Smashing Frenchman (which I have a coming yearling out of the Hyperspeed mare and the same stud who I love) but the stud was sold and so now I am in the market for another one. I like the free running horses and my husband would love to have some color on the foals. So anyway I will post picture of their papers and would love suggestions. Oh and it doesn't have to be the same stud for both mares!! Thanks guys :)

| I am a big Midnight Corona fan. Mr Jess Perry x Corona cash bred. you would have a great chance on color with the second mare. I wouldnt breed the first mare to him though may be a little hot with double chicks beduino in the cross. |

| i feel that a stallions sire is important but i believe the female line is more important. Midnight Corona has had the strongest living female line in quarter horse racing until his grand dam corona chick passed on. Besides I like to hedge my bet a little and get the speed I want. JMHO. My fillies by him are sweet, super smart and athletic |

| I'd go with Pappasito. He isn't overly huge, he has the best confirmation of any horse I think I've ever seen, his babies are beautiful and smart. To be honest, he is better looking in the flesh than what this picture shows.
From a bloodline standpoint, you get Corona Cartel (since that's his sire) and you get the benefit of his dam being Strawberry Silk. She herself won the All American and is the dam of Stoli. Stoli is a pretty hot ticket for barrel horses but not a lot can afford his stud fee
Pappasito is reasonable priced and affordable.

| Guaranteed color by breeding to Frenchmans Bully, he is a free runner with (Bully Bullion, Firewater Flit and Frenchman's
Guy) His maternal 1/2 sister is Biankus French Girl (Blondie) and he has several others proven in barrels. He is in the upcoming Stallion Service Auction and in the incentive program for vgbra.org. Go to that site and look at all the studs.

Location: DUMPING CATS AND PIGS IN TEXAS :) | Just thought I'd throw this on here for you. There is a stallion auction going on here in LA with some nice stallions for really good prices.

We have two of Strawberry Silks colts here. WhathaveIgottodo (color) and Bedouin Cartel. Dam, First Prize Dash, is well represented with Cosino, First Prize Doc, and First Prize Perry. Triple Vodka is in this auction.
I'd probably pick Roll N Thunder for your first mare. |
