We own Jalopy, and would be happy to answer any questions you may have about him. We bought him from the man that still owns most of his babies, and they were all very nice to be around. I know one that he parted with was in training with Ashley Janssen and I spoke with her and she had nothing but good things to say about him. Had a few videos of him working too, if you want to try to contact her. We love him. He is so easy to be around and handle, and is bred impeccably.

Here is the colt Ashley had when he was a 3 year old. One of his first times on the pattern.

Thanks :
) What sort of injury ended Jalopy's racing career? Do you have any videos of him moving? Any more videos of his foals?

Unfortunately most of Jalopy foals are just hanging out at the farm we purchased him from. We did find one that was sold and Ashley Jansen started him on barrels. Here is a link to the video she has of him.

I am not sure if Jalopy quit racing due to an injury or if they were just unable to run him anymore due to personal reasons. He is very heavy boned and extremely stout, as are all his foals I have seen
( Built to last!
). We have several videos of him playing out in the pasture, but probably will not make his video bio until the spring when it starts to warn up a bit
( as well as maybe dry up a little
).
