I am looking for a pair of boots to wear with some dresses that i have but i am finding that my 16 inch calf is way to tight to fit into theses fashion western boots with the snip toe. ...... i wear a size 8.5 and most of circumference is only 14 inches ! what to i do i know they can be streched but not that much ..... HELP

Is there brands that run larger in the calf??? and ones that run smaller so i can stay away from them . Thanks

This might sounds a little weird but have you tried wearing mens boots? For Christmas I bought a pair of Cinch mens boots because the ball of my foot is unusually wide and I love them.

I was in a friend's wedding, and we all wore cowgirl boots with our bridesmaids dresses.  The MOH has large calves, and my husband (who is pretty handy) split the shaft down the back, then laced them back with leather.  They actually looked really cool, and were adjustable for her.

Maybe just get them custom made for you and then you would have a really nice pair of boots that will last for you

I have fat calves, and I wear Dan Post, Tin Haul, Boulet, and Twisted X. I have found some Dan Post boots that are taller, and I can't fit in them. But most of them work just fine.
Also, like other people said, try men's boots. They tend to be a bit bigger.
I also have 1 pair of snip toe Corrals, that fit just fine.
